Today, we are announcing support for Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) and NVIDIA GPUDirect Storage (GDS) on Amazon FSx for Lustre. EFA is a network interface for Amazon EC2 instances that makes it possible to run applications requiring high levels of inter-node communications at scale.
