As promised in Welcome to AWS re:Invent 2018, here’s a summary of the launches and previews from Midnight Madness:LaunchesHere are detailed blog posts & whats new pages for last night’s launches:Amazon S3 Batch OperationsThis upcoming feature will allow you to make large-scale, parallel changes across millions or billions of S3 objects with a couple of clicks.
You will be able to copy objects between buckets, replace object tag sets, update access controls, restore objects from Amazon Glacier, and invoke AWS Lambda functions.
The new storage class is totally transparent.
You can still access your files as needed and in the usual way, with no code or operational changes necessary.
