​ Today Amazon announced Savings Plans, a new pricing and discount plan for EC2 and fargate. At GorillaStack we’ve often thought the Reserved Instance (RI) model to be overly complex and in many cases more disadvantageous than it is useful. That’s why we’ve never created automation for RIs.
