This “non-invasive” policy enforcement renders Immuta essentially invisible to the end consumer, which Touw says is the key reason for building the native integration.

In addition, the native integration brings to BigQuery users core Immuta capabilities of data masking, data discovery and classification, scalable policy building through Immuta’s attribute-based access control model, and auditing of user and policy activity to generate compliance reports.
