AI’s impact varied depending on a worker’s experience and skill level, “with the greatest impact on novice and low-skilled workers, and minimal impact on experienced and highly skilled workers.”

“[O]ur findings raise questions about whether and how workers should be compensated for the data that they provide to AI systems,” the researchers write.
