Google Brings Rust into Chromium Project
Google is now supporting third-party Rust libraries from C++ in the Chromium project. Dana Jansens, https://security.googleblog.com/2023/01/supporting-use-of-rust-in-chromium.html, writes that to start, the team is adding a https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1292038 to its build systems.
It’s a big deal for Google to add Rust libraries to Chromium.
