Jayden has been working as a Lead Software Engineer at Amazon for the past 2 years.

Making sure that such a complex website works seamlessly in all browsers can’t be an easy task.

I believe this tends to happen only in smaller companies nowadays, I’ve never heard of such endeavors in the last 3 years in companies such as Amazon, Airbnb, Google, Stripe, Instacart, PagerDuty.

If you leave that decision up to that person, your company will spend a ton of resources on that effort and they’ll be able to use it only after 7 months, if everything goes well and it doesn’t end up being a mess.

But if you forget to check if your website is working in other browsers except Chrome and Firefox, you’re basically showing that you don’t care at all about the experience for a significant number of users.
