Recently, I gave a talk at Agile Testing Days called “How to Keep Testers Motivated.” I fully agree with her, but I like to add a little detail to this affirmation, which is that only a motivated tester does good testing.

Moving on to the next idea, I also want to talk about feedback, because feedback is not something that is useful in and of itself.

This person decided to leave the company because she felt that we were not taking care of her, that we weren’t paying attention to what she said and that saddened me because it was my fault.

Well, one of the things that I believe is really important is to show that you really appreciate any feedback and that you don’t get defensive.
