If someone reached out to you and said: “If you give me $1000, in a year I’ll turn it into $10,000”, you would be understandably skeptical. This might be a scam or it might be real, but most will err on the side of caution and simply “pass”. There is a reason for the age old saying of “If it is too good to be true, it probably is”.

A POC will take everything you have researched and allow you to apply it in a very small scale to make sure that everything actually works the way it should (it proves the concept).

Also the data you collected can help you in picking the best path forward even if it is with another piece of tech.
