Is it us, or were we not **just** ringing in the New Year? At the end of 2022, we (i.e. Adriana and Ana) made an SRE wishlist for 2023.

By making observability a foundation of SRE, we establish an understanding of our system before we add any chaos.

The observability provided by these signals allows them to troubleshoot production issues, gauge system performance and examine overall system health.

Instead, we must focus on why they failed, so that we can make our systems better and more resilient.
