I, for some mad reason, chose Sydney as the central region of our global serverless infrastructure with a single replication region in Europe. In testing it led to some slower access times from Europe and the US during sign-up.

I decided to bite the bullet pre-launch and change this.

With replication regions in the US and Sydney to ensure a strong global spread and response times for launch.

If you aren’t 100% committed to infrastructure as code you are in for a painful time in the cloud, especially serverless.
