I got the chance to read Accelerate by Nicole Forsgren, Jez Humble and Gene Kim. I found the material useful, relatable to my work and wanted a quick summary to retain and refresh the concepts from time to time.
The best thing I found is that it measures the impact of abstract constructs like culture and deployment pain and relate to organisational performance.
It was interesting to know that measuring culture is not only possible but its a valid and reliable tool. To measure the culture of an organisation you can use the following questions and if the answers are positive then your organisational culture is Generative(performance oriented which is good) as opposed to Pathological(power oriented) or Bureaucratic(rule oriented).
