10 years ago (yesterday) I started my very first job as a System Engineer Intern at Cerner. Yes, my first day at my first real job was of course on my birthday.

It was curiosity that had me trying new tools and technology to make my day-to-day work easier.

It was passion that had me volunteering to work late nights and weekends just to be able to work with people much smarter than I and learn from them.

It took grit to work part-time and finish my associate's degree.
