Jenkins was known initially as Hudson, but it was renamed after a dispute with Oracle, which had forked the project and claimed ownership of the name. Hudson’s Oracle fork was developed for a little longer before being donated to the Eclipse Foundation. Hudson, an Oracle product, is no longer supported and was declared outdated in February 2017. But what was the story behind the butler attire in both the logos?!
