Kubernetes is a portable, extensible, open-source platform for managing containerized workloads and services. It facilitates both declarative configuration and automation, letting us run distributed system resiliently that scale to meet users’ demand. If this definition seems a bit complicated, just keep that Kubernetes is a container orchestrator that helps make sure that each container is where it’s supposed to be and that containers can talk to each other.
