The Engineering Team

The engineering team at Ahoy is a fully remote, cross-functional, and autonomous team made up of talented engineers from various backgrounds and skill levels.

What the role will focus on

Build, manage, and monitor our extensive infrastructure

Introduce and test new technologies, tools, and systems that enable fast and safe code deployment

Work closely with team members to identify and automate manual and repetitive processes ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability

Optimize our CI/CD pipelines

Design and champion DevOPs best-practices

What you will bring to the role

Experience building scalable infrastructure

Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS

Experience with systems for automating deployment, scaling and management of containerised applications, such as Kubernetes

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Curious and collaborative team player who takes ownership of new and challenging problems and sees them through.

Not afraid to ask for help or ask questions, and share your knowledge openly

Experience with a remote full-time role

Nice but not essential

Experience with Ruby, Python or other programming language
