DevOps Vancouver Meetup: May 2019

Our next DevOps Vancouver Meetup will be held on Tuesday, May 28th, from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

Some of you may already be aware that Best Buy implemented Agile within Technology and other parts of the organisation some time ago. We were excited to hear they’ve also been working with a DevOps IT delivery model. Please join us at the next meetup to learn more about their journey.

Topics and Speakers are:
1 Best Buy’s DevOps journey and how they structured their teams for DevOps – Presented by Chris Denton and Mohammad Ansari
2 Best Buy’s shift from legacy applications to a micro-service architecture as well as the tools and practices to support this – Presented by Morgane Oger, Eliot Aharon and Paul Victor
3 Best Buy’s OpenShift implementation and what CI/CD pipelines and functionalities they use to support these needs – Presented by Samuel Baruffi, Nicholas Roland, Alexis Torres and Jamil Ahmed

Thank you to Best Buy for sponsoring this event. Coffee/tea and cookies will be served.

Where: UBC Robson Square – Room C300 (Theatre)

Space is limited, so please book your seat early. Please remember: update your booking if you can’t make it, so others who get wait listed can attend in your place.
