DevOps Vancouver Meetup: Nov 2019

Our next DevOps Vancouver Meetup will be held on Tuesday, November 19th, from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

This will be our final Meetup for 2019 and we have some exciting topics to be presented by Safia Habib, Dynatrace Solutions Engineer.

With an ever increasing adoption of cloud technologies, enterprises are rapidly jumping on the Digital Transformation bandwagon. An efficient Digital Transformation strategy includes understanding of the architecture, embracing DevOps and ensuring that the application is scalable, resilient and fault tolerant. Dynatrace has undergone an extremely successful DevOps to NoOps journey itself, resulting in faster innovation, lowered remediation times and quicker releases. During the Meetup, Safia will do a deep dive into:

• DevOps to NoOps in 90 Days: A living, breathing example of how Dynatrace reinvented the product and the industry
• Building Resiliency into DevOps Cloud: Adopting the use of AI and automation for unbreakable continuous delivery
• Keptn And Dynatrace: An open source example of how Shift Left, Shift Right and Auto Remediation can be built into DevOps practices

Safia has enjoyed many positions throughout her career in engineering, support, customer success and now in technical sales. She loves speaking about performance monitoring, DevOps and software automation. Safia created content to educate peers on new emerging technology trends and teaches how the trends are applicable to digital transformation. Her specialties include quickly learning new skills and programming languages, problem solving, automating CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization techniques for all technology stacks. So far she has C#, Kubernetes, YAML, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Dynatrace, Ansible, GitHub, under her belt.
