Docker + Arm: Building Multi-arch Apps with BuildxTHIS IS A FREE EVENT - PLEASE RSVP USING THIS LINK

Build once, run anywhere. But this time for real.

Docker support for cross-platform applications is better than ever. Now you can describe all the compilation and packaging steps for your app in a single Dockerfile, and use it to build an image that will run on Linux, Windows, Intel and Arm - 32-bit and 64-bit.

This session shows you how to do that - building and running truly cross-platform apps using Docker's new buildx functionality. We'll cover the Docker runtime and its understanding of OS and CPU architecture, together with the concept of multi-architecture images and manifests.

We'll have demos using Java and .NET Core, building apps with Docker on an Intel machine and running them with Docker on the Raspberry Pi.
