Global Day of Coderetreat

Lunch will be provided by DICK'S Sporting Goods and its Tech Talk Thursdays. See what's coming up at https://www.meetup.com/DICKS-Sporting-Goods-Tech-Talk-Thursdays.

=========

Coderetreat is a day-long, intensive practice event, focusing on the fundamentals of software development and design. By providing developers the opportunity to take part in focused practice, away from the pressures of 'getting things done', the coderetreat format has proven itself to be a highly effective means of skill improvement. Practicing the basic principles of modular and object-oriented design, developers can improve their ability to write code that minimizes the cost of change over time.

C&S will continue its tradition of hosting GDCR with experienced and new facilitators!

We'll work in pairs or triples on laptops. Bring your laptop or a keyboard so you can work with others.

A healthy lunch and snacks will be provided by a sponsor, to be determined. Your $10 holds your spot and encourages your attendance; it will be refunded that day as $10 cash. If you cannot afford the $10, let us know.

Facilitators will be Jim Hurne, Jenny Manning, Greg Hopkins, and Colin Dean. Join #coderetreat on C&S Slack (https://codeandsupply.co/chat) to talk about your favorite exercises and contribute to lunch planning.
