Most application performance issues are due to inefficient database access. In this Meetup, we will introduce the concept of a database proxy to improve SQL performance. Deployment requires no application changes. We will also discuss various proxies in the market and how they benefit application-database RDS and Redshift architectures.

Agenda:
6:15-7:30pm Database Proxy overview:

1) Automated query caching
2) Read/write split with replication lag detection
3) Connection pooling with Active Directory
4) SQL performance analytics

7:30-7:45pm Live Demo with Q&A

Hope to see you there!
