Speaker Bio:
Josh Kodroff is a technology craftsman living in Philadelphia. He works as a Sr Cloud Advocate at 2nd Watch, a professional services and managed cloud provider.
Josh strives to express his dedication to craftsmanship in 3 ways:
1. An emphasis on quality and integrity in order to deliver the best long-term value to stakeholders.
2. Empathy for his teammates, users, and clients.
3. A commitment to continuously improving his skills, both technical and interpersonal.
Josh's focus since 2016 has been in cloud-native computing, DevOps, and modern IT operations. Before moving toward operations, he spent 12 in software development with an emphasis on message-centric architectures, domain-driven design, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
When not working or doing code stuff Josh enjoys cooking, meditation, playing music, collecting records, and hiking in the Wissahickon.
