Grafana 7

With every GrafanaCon a new major release of Grafana is presented.
Better looking Metrics yay!

Alongside with Grafana a new Logging system called Loki which is very lightweight, easy and cheap to run yourself has been getting more adepts since it was presented early on Dec 2018
Tracing it taken off properly this year and adoption has increased significantly adding a new tool to help to monitor applications and infrastructure

Grafana 7 has, very gracefully, unified the 3 main UIs of the Observability pillars that engineers use to debug and monitor their applications.
Giving a single glance rich vision of the application and infrastructure telemetry

Turning audit pains to operating pleasures

For those working on systems, CI or orchestration, audits can have a disproportionate impact on their work. Evidence requests. On-demand reports. Questions that feel all too similar. And once the report is returned, endless toil to address the various findings. With some thought, it doesn't have to be like that

Bio: Mika helps to run a betting exchange. At Smarkets, his various hats include Head of Security, DPO, VPE, and an all round workflow badger.

See you there!

All the best,
DOX Team
