Does it take ages for a new engineer in your team to build the codebase? Is all the build logic in your CI/CD system hidden behind esoteric groovy files? Are you tired of spending time tweaking Jenkins instead of building apps? There is another way though, with a bit of docker, docker-compose and a makefile you might be able to avoid all this pain and achieve a more consistent way to test, build and deploy your applications.
