8:45 pm Q&A
9:00 pm wrap-up

Have you ever wondered how hard it is to write a client library?
Loris Cro, Developer Advocate at Redis Labs, recently wrote one and discovered that it's actually pretty easy (and fun!) to get started.

In this talk, Loris Cro will show you how to write a client for Redis. He will show you how to inspect RESP (Redis Serialization Protocol) using Netcat (or telnet). Then he will use that information to live code a basic Python client that implements the SET and GET commands.
